Milkfed & Me
This fun collaboration with Milkfed Press is a mix and match wedding suite, perfect whether you are a couple that is mixed or a couple that matches!
Process
I am happy to talk with you about your calligraphy needs for your wedding, special event, or your business. I have done logotypes for businesses and individuals; camera ready art for invitations, maps, menus, save the date and rsvp cards; and hand addressed invitations, place cards, escort cards, and table cards. If you'd like to have me letter something else, please let me know!
- Please email me a brief description of your project and deadlines to find out about my pricing and availability. Note that there is a $250 minimum charge for all new orders.
- To book future jobs, I will send you a deposit request via email. Payment can be made by check, cash, money order, paypal or credit card via paypal.
- Once I have your text files, a fifty percent deposit and your materials (please provide an extra 10-15% of all), I'll complete your project according to our agreed schedule. I'll send you a progress invoice when the work is complete, then arrange for delivery of your pieces, retaining any additional envelopes or stock for last minute changes and/or additions to your guest list. After any additional work is complete, I will ship these extras to you if you wish.
- If you are working with a printer, I can electronically deliver camera ready art according to their specifications.

About Leigh
Making calligraphy is an expression of my lifelong fascination with typography and hand lettering. From an early age, I enjoyed rendering letterforms, later studying graphic design and typography, eventually becoming an illustrator many years ago. Some of my most enjoyable illustration projects have involved extensive hand drawn lettering. When not doing calligraphy, I create illustrations for advertising, design, publishing and editorial clients from my studio in San Francisco. My design and illustration work have been recognized by major organizations such as the AIGA and the Society of Illustrators, as well as appearing in several volumes of American Illustration and in Communication Arts Illustration Annuals.
